“ We went to this pub before heading to the Globe theater —just for a gin tonic and a quick meal. It's really charming and very well-kept. The staff, especially the waitress who served us, was extremely friendly and kind. I definitely recommend this place because they have a great selection of cocktails and dishes, ranging from simple and quick bites to more substantial options. It's an excellent spot, and I would definitely like to return. Highly recommended! ”
“ We came for the Romeo and Juliette afternoon tea and had a lovely experience. The staff is super nice, smiling, knows about their menu items, they really elevated the experience. The afternoon tea was generous, the theme was very nice and the food tasted amazing. My friend got the vegan one and did not feel like she was missing out as the food was very similar. We also got a complimentary refill of the sandwich tray which was very appreciated. I will definitely be back for the next theme! ”

“ Lovely restaurant! It was a great location, close by to lots of tourist attractions but a nice quiet and peaceful place to take a break and get a bite to eat. Staff was very helpful and welcoming. The Cauliflower soup was amazing, I haven’t stopped thinking about it since! The fish was nice fish, well cooked but lacked flavor. Highly recommend and will be back! ”
“ This is the fifth time at the Swan for teatime. Every time the theme is different and now they have Romeo and Juliet from teacups to plates and even the menu. The food is great with different selection of sandwiches, sweets and scones. The atmosphere is great, enriched by a great view on St Paul. ”
“ We booked the afternoon tea and absolutely LOVED it. We knew that it's definitely a touristy thing to do, but the quality of everything at the Swan was fantastic, it wasn't too cliche or touristy at all. We loved how it was Shakespeare themed, being next to the Globe Theatre. I also really appreciated the attentiveness of our server and his recommendations for London! They also have a straight gluten free menu that is so so so good, you don't feel like you're eating stuff that isn't as good of quality as the main food. Also the tea was excellent!!! ”
“ Absolutely amazing afternoon Tea. A trip into London for my wife’s belated 60th birthday. Great service from the professional staff, overseen by an extremely knowledgeable Manager. As you can see from our photos the layout of the facilities and our table over looking the river Thames was great. The presentation, taste and flavours of our afternoon tea with all the extras was sublime. We wanted to stay and finish the whole lot, but, in the end did the sensible thing and got a pack-up to go. Thank you so much guys and keep up the great work. ”
“ We had a fantastic afternoon tea here to celebrate father's day. We choose the cowboy menu and it was a real treat. We especially loved the large sweetcorn and cheddar scones with a spiced butter (I could have one of those every day!) Special thanks to Anushan and his colleague who made the day very special. They were attentive and a lot of fun. They treated us and our nine month old son incredibly well and we would happily return! ”
